The old counter around our farmhouse sink had been measured wrong by another shop, so I was nervous bringing in the countertop fabricators I hired this time. Over two mornings, their crew used a laser template and checked the sink fit right in the kitchen before anything was finalized. The moment I noticed the faucet holes lined up without any forcing, I felt like the whole project had finally stopped fighting us. They left the room orderly and the finished edge looks like it was always meant to be there.
